Well, I guess that’s the last time that I call someone out for adhering to baseball’s silly unwritten rules.
The highlight of Braden’s perfect game didn’t even involve Braden directly. Following the game, his grandmother, who was in attendance and was clearly riding Betty White’s octogenarian-based comedy momentum, had this to say:
“Stick it, A-Rod.”
Stick it A-Rod, indeed. Not the most original sentiment, but funny nonetheless.
