The Rhythm Is The Bass And The Bass Is The Treble

The Olive Oil Business

It was brought to my attention via an email that our sponsorship of the Perez brothers’ Baseball-Reference pages is up for renewal and sadly, with the economy what it is these days, I’m not sure we can afford to renew both. And please, don’t expect me to choose between Pascaul and Melido. That’s a question that should never be posed to anyone. I feel it’s best to just let them both go and just pray they find a person with a kind soul to look after them.

Despite an unproductive second quarter (Nasdaq: SUAV), it is still within our budget to sponsor one page. We’re still well represented on Baseball Reference so why not branch out to a different sport. Barry Sanders’s page is a little pricey and I’m not sure the FR folks would let me write “The only guy I’d go gay for” in the sponsor space. So I started to think of what other athletes I aspired to be when I was growing up. Preferably, someone who a video game loving, half-Italian semi-athletic kid growing up in the suburbs of New Jersey could have really related to.

Mike Iuzzolino

Yes sir, the formidable Mike Iuzzolino, the NBA Jam icon. The most popular video game character paisan not named Mario or Luigi. Now part of the TS athlete family, which I promise in five years will be completely legitimate. Salud!
