Breaking News: Rational Jets Fan (HA!) Yammers On About Favre

Posted by Losloseeboy · July 15th, 2009

On what is known as the slowest day in sports, ESPN knew it could depend on its No. 1 whore: Brett Lorenzo Favre.

After molesting high school-aged receivers for the past few weeks, Mr. Arthritic Clit shockingly announced that his ego is itchier than ever. Translated: Brett Favre will be wearing purple by July 30.

Is this really happening?

There is team a t-e-a-m willing to take him? Have the collective heads that run the Minnesota organization not thawed out yet? Is ‘Sota fawning for another Rubio-sized disappointment?

These are tired questions, I know. But it can’t overstated: Brett Favre was ATROCIOUS the last five games of 2008, throwing nine interceptions and only two touchdowns. The Jets went 1-4 during the stretch, losing a chance at the playoffs in the final game of the season to Flipper and the Wildpussies.

And let’s not even get into the argument that he was “injured.” Basically, Favre wore down after 11 games. Unless the Vikings have aspirations of finishing with an all-too-familiar “just the tip” record, there is no reason to go after him.

Let’s just say this . . .

If Sage Rosenfels’ dad got Tarvaris Jackson’s mom pregnant, the baby — fresh out of Ms. Jackson’s canal — would immediately be a better decision maker than Favre. Speaking of Jackson, is Brad Childress prepared to make his second-round draft pick a third-string quarterback?

When it comes down to it, Vikings fans don’t deserve this misery to be forced upon them.

As a Jets fan, I know the ensuing pain all too well. Not to mention, Brett’s Doctor Feel Good didn’t even write me a script of Vicodin to cope with it.

With all that said, here are the lowlights (all nine interceptions) from Brett Favre’s final five games of the 2008 season:

I encourage Vikings fans to send this post/video to Mr. Zygi Wilf ASAP.
