Vin Scully’s hearty-chuckle aside, you can’t really give Mets OF and renowned anti semi-Semite Ryan Church too much grief for his latest baserunning gaffe, even if it was the go ahead run in the top of the 11th inning. Sometimes people with a history of concussions forget to do the things you and I pass off as mundane.

If it makes you feel any better Ry, you’re not alone. I’d be lying if I said there weren’t times in my life when, for no good explainable reason whatsoever, I even find myself occasionally missing 3rd Bass. It’s best if you just chalk it up to stupidity and move on.
