Here is a brief clip from John McEnroe’s visit into the booth at Citi Field on Wednesday afternoon.

I don’t have any definitive proof, but I believe Johnny Mc was booted from the booth shortly after the Sheffield comment.

Out of seemingly nowhere, his discordant voice just happened to disappear.

The lesson here?

Don’t screw around with the Wilpon Gestapo.
