Somehow, Digger Phelps thinks Greg Paulus is going to be Duke’s “X-factor” in the tourney.

In Duke’s last four games, Paulus played a combined total of 16 minutes.
It was during this stretch that the Blue Devils played their best basketball, utilizing athletic freshman guard Elliot Williams.
Following Digger’s laughable comment, Dick Vitale — surprise! — went on to explain how Paulus thanked him for all the kind words over the years. Dick almost climaxed on camera, struggling to keep his pants buttoned.
