Joe Namath’s habit of saying dumb drunken things in public started a long time ago.
I gave this video to long suffering Jets fan/noted Ken O’Brien apologist Shakespeare DiMaggio for his birthday a few years back, but he never took it home. He never even got around to watching it, which unsurprisingly instantly improved his QB play.
It should also not come as much of a shock that the events in this video are some of the dullest that have ever been captured on celluloid. Luckily, the editors of the video concluded the tape with a sweet 80s highlight montage, which I’ve posted below. Be warned though, the video is mildly homoerotic and contains extensive footage of Ken O’Brien and other men in short shorts, provided of course by his sponsor, Pony. I also included Ken’s signature signoff, an unnecessary 30 yard incomplete pass thrown to no one in particular. There were also some small inconsequential tracking issues that had to be accommodated for.
