The sheriff in Richland County, SC has decided not to charge swimmer Michael Phelps after a photo of the 14-time gold medalist showed him smoking from a marijuana pipe.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said he couldn’t ignore the photo but defended his investigation.
“Michael Phelps is truly an American hero … but even with his star status, he is still obligated to obey the laws of our state,” Lott said.
If ever there’s a movie made of this ordeal, I suggest the part of Leon Lott be played by veteran actor, Scott Glenn.
And as for possible ideas regarding Phelps’s retribution:
Sheriff Lott, a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbia, is married and has four daughters.
If only one of Sheriff Lott’s daughters were a big, fake titted Asian with an oversized tramp stamp.
