ESPN’s Stu Scott, filling his role of pop-culture-geist, went on air this evening and bastardized a quote from the movie “Warriors.”
Scott channeled his inner Luther, fumbling the the lead into a Golden State Warriors highlight.
“Warriors, come out and play,” Scott said in an obnoxiously high pitched voice.
It was painful — not to mention incorrect. The correct quote substitutes “to” for “and.”
“Warriors, come out to play.”
