News of Weezy blogging for ESPN is stale.
However, being a major promoter of his music — here, here, here and here — I felt it was finally time to chime in.
The blog, unlike the music, doesn’t make me gyrate my hips like a cross-hatched James-Elvis-Brown. In other words, it’s not required reading.
Still, I’m willing to give Weezy a chance to see his favorite player. That’s right, Wayne, you are cordially invited to see Brett Favre and the Jets take on David “Guardian Angel” Pollack and the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 12 at the Meadowlands.
The seats are up in the 300-level — where you might need a ladder that goes forever — but I figure we might be able to sneak a few puffs up there.
