Being that my Father hates me, I was raised a Knicks (as well as a Jets and Mets) fan. To this day, I prefer a 84-82 defensive struggle than a high octane 132-130 game. Though the Rockets stupidly fired Jeff Van Gundy (by far my favorite Knicks Coach ever), his system remained in place. They were 2nd in team defense last year. Well, their defense just got a lot better with the addition of Ron Artest. This team has become my basketball wet dream. Not only do they have Yao and Tracy McGrady, they also have the two best wing defenders in the league. It’s a little bit of everything, Skip to my Lou at the point, offense out of T-Mac, lock down defense from Battier and Artest and a goofy Chinese guy with foot problems. Hopefully this addition will finally get McGrady out of the first round.
