There’s a lot going on in this blurb from mlive.com. First, Brett Favre has apparently no qualms when it comes to calling/texting the Packers’ intradivision rivals and asking for advice which only furthers my theory that Brett Favre feels the NFL revolves around him. Second, I continually am amazed that people voluntarily keep seeking out Millen’s advice on anything football related. Third but certainly not least is this nugget of enjoyment:
“The next time was probably three weeks ago,” Millen said. “We texted back and forth. I told him I had a groundhog getting into my vegetable garden so I shot him. He said “Mmm, make a stew.”’
I have no doubt in mind that if it were Pacman Adam Jones capping marmots in his backyard , it would come under league review, so why not have Goodell take a looksy into this matter? Please, anything to give the Detroit Lion fanbase the belief that someday Matt Millen will no longer be involved in the team’s personnel decisions.

And yes, I’m aware Millen shot a groundhog and not a gopher. I didn’t confuse my Bill Murray varmint targets. I did it for the love of the photoshop.
