I used to look forward to Sports Illustrated’s “Sign of the Apocalypse.”

But in today’s digital crusade, the apocalyptic tidbit is usually staler than Josh Hamilton’s catchy addiction story Kimbo’s bread.

Some renegade blogger usually scoops up an interesting / quirky factoid off the tubes and runs with it.

SI — a depressing T-rex fossil — is left under a million sheets of magazine paper and red ink, murmuring about the Golden Age of the printing press.

Realizing this, I’m offering SI a helping hand. As of right now, Tirico Suave’s services are available for a daily “Sign Of The Apocalypse” post.
