If Derek Jeter hits into a double play, the “calm eyes rule” will be in effect. Only one out shall stand, and Jeter may inherit first base. No one gets to put out THE Derek Jeter.

In my experience doing book for high school games, the DH is almost always used, but the pitcher is rarely hit for.

Nice rule with foreign busts.

Funny how I always hear about pitchers who were excellent hitters in high school. Maybe they did have the DH at Hank’s super-exclusive prep school.
