Close your eyes and imagine Walter Sobchak as a Yankees fan. That’s who I sat behind last night at the Coliseum while taking in the Yankees/A’s game. This guy was also a rabid Raiders fan, and on several occasions, discussed his displeasure with owner Al Davis. Here’s how that conversation went:
Sobchak: I can’t wait for Al Davis to die.
Dorn: You won’t have to wait too much longer. I think he’s on his way out.
Sobchak: Are you kidding me? He’s dead already. He’s weekend at Bernie’s up there, man!
Raiders fans, gotta love’em. I couldn’t tell if he was serious or not.

Maybe that’s why the Raiders signed Javon Walker, to Bernie Al Davis. I don’t think he can play receiver if he can’t walk.

If he starts wearing sunglasses and gets hit on by young attractive women — I’d say call the authorities.
