Since I don’t watch PAX, TLC Family, the Game Show Network or whatever channel carries the NHL nowadays, I am not up to speed on the latest hockey news. However, I did just find out that the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup sometime within the last 90 days. My reaction to the news was the same as when I woke up today and realized I had to scan documents for eight hours on a Sunday. I would rather watch 72 consecutive hours of amateur bass fishing than watch an NHL game, which actually could work out for me since the last I heard, the Stanley Cup finals games are often preempted for bass fishing marathons which draw higher ratings shares anyway. Although, I would be greatly obliged if someone would write in and let me know how Kirk Muller faired in the playoffs. I’m a huge fan.
