I will spend my entire next paycheck on GoPhones and GoPhone related merchandise if it means I don’t have to see this ad three times ever commercial break. And the fact that that kid isn’t even Meat Loaf’s real son but looks just like him bothers me even more. That fat face over bite shimmy he does at the :14 mark has cost me countless hours of sleep since the NBA playoffs have begun. Speaking of, the Spurs-Hornets game is currently being delayed because Hugo, the Hornets’ mascot, did a ring of fire dunk between quarters but the ring couldn’t be extinguished right, which resulted in the entire floor being covered in white extinguisher residue, so I had to just sit through Craig Sager improvising stories about when he was a mascot in college for a good part of the 19 minute delay. The lesson as always: be careful what you wish for.
