In case you didn’t see the Costas Now feature that aired on HBO tonight dealing with the state of the sports media landscape, I’ll sum it up for you: anything that has ever gone wrong in the past, is currently going wrong or will go wrong in the future can be blamed on blogs, specifically Deadspin and it’s founder Will Leitch. This was proven by Friday Night Lights author Buzz Bissinger by reading a brief passage from Deadspin about Rich Garces’s tits (FYI: TitsofRichGarces.com is an available domain name). The real treat of the piece though was the eight seconds of video I isolated below.

It seemed, and even almost admitted as much, that he’s part of an older group that’s sort of being pushed out the door by the newer technology if you will. He really came off as a blowhard though. He had a whole dossier of crude passages from Deadspin that he kept trying to bring up. It was pretty enjoyable to watch him piss and moan his way all over the place last night. Braylon Edwards was the other guy on the panel and he just looked mesmerized.
