Thank God Mike Martz scheme have some similarities with Norv Turner's offensive style..So leave Vernon Davis alone...Im sure he is trying just as hard as the rest of the team to be the best!! And the fact that this came from a teammate and was made public tells implies that someone's trying to light a fire under his ass. Regardless, #6 overall was probably a little bit of a reach for TE. Niners have had 4 different offensive coordinators in the last 4 seasons. With that kind of changes on offense, its hard for the quarterback and his receivers to get any kind of momentum. 3 different quarterbacks also started at some point during the season for S.F. last year I'm not trying to downplay vernon's mistakes, but they first have to get a stable environment that will allow the players to succeed.
