It seems the trade to Phoenix has made Shaquille O’Neal care enough about basketball again that he has given himself a new moniker: “The Big Cactus”, which I thought was already former Nuggets forward Chris Andersen’s nickname since he was seven feet tall, not much more than a decoration and was always filled with peyote. When asked why he chose this name, Shaq stated “Because if you come too close, you’re gonna get stuck”. I looked it over, read it twice and yeah, it makes absolutely zero sense to me either.
