Larry Fitzgerald is due to make 16.5 million dollars next season. The NFL cap is not very flexible and that amount of money could be a salary cap killer. Rumors have abounded about the possibility of Fitz being traded. Receivers of Fitzgerald’s age and pedigree don’t come around very often, so there was sure to be plenty of interest. According to the East Valley Tribune, extension talks are ongoing between Fitz and the Cards and they hope to have something in place by the end of the month.
