Linked to here, is a metsblog.com interview with Mets great Keith Hernandez. Met fans will tell you that not only is Hernandez one of their favorite players of all time, but also, the best pure analyst in baseball. Hernandez is quite opinionated and many fans will remember the fiasco that was started when Hernandez claimed that Padres trainer Kelly Calabrese didn’t belong in the dugout (it partially started because Calabrese was wearing a uniform, which Hernandez (and ShakespeareD) found hilarious). The most important thing to remember about Hernandez is that he is kind of an arrogant, vain jerk off and this makes him both a brilliant commentator and the best leader the Mets ever had. Well anyway, enjoy the interview.
I’m Keith Hernandez
