Philip Rivers is the master of the awkward touchdown celebration. But was there something more sinister about yesterdays celebration of Darren Sproles’ touchdown. Upon watching the first replay of the touchdown, it seemed Rivers didn’t get hurt during the play, but after gleefully jumping after Sproles scored. The booth maintained a strange secrecy after the play, neither replaying it nor going more in depth about the injury. Was this out of respect for Rivers? Did they not want to make him seem like Bill Gramatica part 2? I think my favorite part of the whole situation was Rivers telling the San Diego Union Tribune that he could have re-entered the game, but didn’t want to ruin Billy Volek’s rhythm. He was too busy arguing with fans. I’m sure Brett Favre or Tom Brady wouldn’t have minded letting Aaron Rodgers and Matt Cassell take a few snaps in the 4th quarter of a playoff game.
Did Philip Rivers Injure Himself Celebrating?

I thought Rivers hurt himself celebrating, but he didn’t. What’s with the Chargers and their over-confidence. LT said he could have come back into the game as well, but that he knew they were going to win so he didn’t. I hope the Bolts start Volek and Turner in NE and win.

Some white-hot prime properties just opened on the Westside if anyone is house-hunting.
