Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic continue their meteoric rise to mediocre fame. This time they threw a roast for themselves. Seriously. Here’s a cross-section of the Deus: Mark Schlereth, Wink Martindale, Joe Klecko, Trey Wingo, Eddie Griffin, Nick Bakay. How did Greg Giraldo’s number get misplaced? They even got Lifehouse to perform! The highlight, other than some Jeff Ross zingers, was the performance of First Take’s Dana Jacobsen. I’ll make Dorn proud and bust out the block quote function:
ESPN anchor Dana Jacobson made an absolute fool of herself, swilling vodka from a Belvedere bottle, mumbling along and cursing like a sailor as Mike & Mike rested their heads in their hands in embarrassment. Griffin came to the podium to defend her after she was booed by the crowd. Ross eventually had to pull her off stage, too.

I’m surprised she hasn’t rigged the helmet so the bottles are already upside-down. When used properly, gravity can be a drunk’s best friend.

Has anyone else noticed that Mike and Mike are the new voice of Domino’s?

ESPN won’t be having one of these anytime soon.
