Just as my fellow blogger, Antiravis, had previously pondered if it was possible that SportsIllustrated.com was not familiar with the word “taint”, I also am fairly skeptical that this headline from Rotoworld.com was just an unintentionally comedic coincidence.

Mets Willing To Trade Reyes For Johan?

In a move that would no doubt have our own Shakespeare DiMaggio crying into his Rafael Santana pillowcase, the New York Mets are reportedly considering trading Jose Reyes to the Twins in a deal for Johan Santana. As far as I’m concerned, I’m for any deal that prevents the picture below from becoming a reality.
