My friend Roger Dorn loves joining fantasy leagues for all different kinds of sports. Usually, Harvey Bars and I are enlisted. This year, Dorn decided on NASCAR. He bailed after about a week, but Harvey and I are locked in a death match with a point margin slimmer than the one between Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon. As we have enhanced our NASCAR knowledge and fandom (New Jersey native Martin Truex Jr. being the shared favorite) , we’ve also gotten to know Lauren Wallace.
He may have a feminine name, but Wallace is the goods. Geico (supported by the best advertising agency ever) has Wallace starring in their spots. He discusses Geico’s services, his cousin Mike (who drives Geico’s number 7 car) and his general awesomeness.
