Looks like PacificMobility.com is going to need to find a new celebrity to endorse their geriatric scooters. Perhaps Verne Troyer is available and no longer peeing in the corners of houses.

Tirico Suave Continues the Most In-Depth Brian Schneider Coverage on the Web
November 30th, 2007 · 2 Comments
This is the Brian Schneider Situation Room. Here’s a blurb from Rotoworld.
Rosenthal says that the Mets offered Johnny Estrada to the Nats in the trade, free of charge, but that the Nats preferred to look elsewhere for a Schneider replacement.”
Can someone tell me why teams treat Johnny Estrada like the plague. Isn’t he good [...]

Ryan Church: The Mets’ New Rightfielder and Anti-Semite
November 30th, 2007 · 1 Comment
Does anyone remember this? Back in 2005, Ryan Church was quoted on the front page of the Washington post, alluding that Jews were doomed to Hell. His exact quote, “”I said, like, Jewish people, they don’t believe in Jesus. Does that mean they’re doomed? Jon nodded, like, that’s what it meant. My ex-girlfriend! I was [...]

Mets Trade Milledge For Brian Schneider
November 30th, 2007 · 3 Comments
Lastings Milledge’s official position on the Mets roster changed from “Outfield” to “Trading Block” around two seasons ago. At one point it seemed he was involved in deals for Barry Zito, Roy Oswalt, Miguel Tejada, YouTube, Google stock, and a Joe Nuxhall baseball card. Well, every deal the Mets have turned down because the other [...]

Andrew Siciliano: “I’m a dressed as a sportscaster who thought he could get away with using the same joke 39 times in a row.”
November 30th, 2007 · 1 Comment
If you pay really close attention to what Andrew Siciliano says, I’ll bet you can guess the exact date that I DVR’d this FSN broadcast. God, this dude is obnoxious. I don’t want to sound I-walked-6-miles-in-the-snow-to-school-uphill-both-ways old, but what happened to talking about sports on the air without intentionally trying to be funny? Warner Wolf [...]

Larry Flynt Possibly Writing Rotoworld Headlines
November 29th, 2007 · 4 Comments
Just as my fellow blogger, Antiravis, had previously pondered if it was possible that SportsIllustrated.com was not familiar with the word “taint”, I also am fairly skeptical that this headline from Rotoworld.com was just an unintentionally comedic coincidence.

Hank Steinbrenner Heartbreaker
November 29th, 2007 · 1 Comment
If you were able to make it through to the end of the New York Post’s recent interview with Hank Steinbrenner, you may have noticed that the final few questions of the interview essentially turned into a MySpace survey minus the part about if Hank ever finished an entire bag of Oreos. It was here [...]

Mets Willing To Trade Reyes For Johan?
November 29th, 2007 · 1 Comment
In a move that would no doubt have our own Shakespeare DiMaggio crying into his Rafael Santana pillowcase, the New York Mets are reportedly considering trading Jose Reyes to the Twins in a deal for Johan Santana. As far as I’m concerned, I’m for any deal that prevents the picture below from becoming a reality.

Troy Percival Back from the Dead
November 29th, 2007 · 1 Comment
He’s 38 years old and has only pitched 65 innings over the last three years, including a two-year, 25 IP stint in Detroit that only cost the Tigers a cool $12 million. He’s already been retired once, has a balky elbow and only throws in the high 80’s. ESPN is reporting the Tampa Bay Devil [...]

I Love New York(’s Mother)

We all know Cole Hauser’s Tour de Force in Paparazzi was, to quote Ferris Bueller, “Choice.” If you haven’t seen it, rent it. It easily gets 4 hours on my Tom Sizemore 4-Hour Movie Erection scale. The star-power is godlike and the credits read like a who’s who in Tinseltown. Tom Sizemore. Waingro. Sir Daniel [...]
